I came home very relaxed yesterday. Just before hitting the sack, I wondered what was relaxing in the day.
We have been publishing iPhone apps for quite sometime now. We have over fifty iPhone apps on the Apple app store. In addition to this, we have designed over two hundred iPhone apps for many clients across the globe.
With this background, I had been reading various news articles and blog posts on writing successful iPhone apps. My increasing impatience led me to write this.
The App Store
With over two decades of experience with some of the largest software and hardware multi-nationals and a successful operation of a management consulting company (I still run it), my friends and peers often question me about this new foray of mine – iPhone apps and everything to do with apps on mobile devices.
With over 100,000 apps, over 150,000 developers in its developer program, over 50 million iPhones and iPod touch customers and robust quarter on quarter performances, Apple, with its iPhone and the app store, has transformed the mobile market irreversibly.
There has to be a set of compelling reasons for a change of this magnitude to take place. With the iPhone and with its developer program and the app store Apple has given an avenue for individuals and businesses to sharpen both their business acumen and creativity.
